Yup... I remember my blog

I’m listening to jazz music… it’s my new thing. You know, you find a thing, and you stick with it for a while and it becomes your solace, your little piece of happiness. Yep. It’s my thing.

My apologies for not posting in a few months – I was planning a bridal shower, in a wedding, applied for school and started school…. AAAHHHH!!!!! It’s been a little crazy around here but I’m going to try updating once a week and when I can, I will do daily posts.

The below Scripture encouraged me so much the other day when I really needed it!
"I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved." - Psalm 16:8

Hope all of my readers are well!

Many Blessings!

Wanderlust Wednesday: Princeton, New Jersey!

I promised a Wednesday of Wanderlust-ing and here it is! Today we are staying fairly local… Princeton, New Jersey! Princeton is a college town, with plenty of old architecture, beautiful boutiques, great restaurants, and tons of books stores! A few years ago my friend Sarah and I went for the day to just walk around and admire all the old buildings and spend a day in the beautiful sunshine!

The green arrow is showing where Princeton is in regards to the surrounding area.
On of the many old buildings used by Princeton University.

              The architecture around the town is just beautiful and well worth the trip! Doing this post reminds me that I need to go back one of these days...

             Tomorrow's Throwback Thursday will be taking every back quite a few years so pack a bag because we're going time-traveling (no, not in a TARDIS! *wink*)!!

Blessings!

I'm a terrible blogger!

Wow. I haven’t done a proper blog post in such a long time! I apologize - life has been busy! I am planning a bridal shower for a dear friend who is getting married in October, we had our Vacation Bible School at the end of June, and I was at camp for two weeks in July.

I will get back to posting regularly (hopefully) tomorrow with a Wanderlust Wednesday!

Blessings,

~Abby
A fairly recent picture... I look pretty much the same :)

Finally, an update... & a poem!

Wow, it's March and I haven't posted since December. I apologize profusely to my readers! I will get back in the swing of things.

I wanted to share a poem with you all that I read yesterday and thought to share with you when I get the chance! I'll be revising the blog days a bit also. I know I've been changing things a lot in the last year, but it's all a learning process. Thanks for sticking through it with me!

Blessings!

"We are the music-makers,
And we are the dreamers of dreams,
Wandering by lone sea-breakers,
And sitting by desolate streams.
World-losers and world-forsakers,
Upon whom the pale moon gleams;
Yet we are the movers and shakers,
Of the world forever, it seems.

With wonderful deathless ditties
We build up the world's great cities,
And out of a fabulous story
We fashion an empire's glory:
One man with a dream, at pleasure,
Shall go forth and conquer a crown;
And three with a new song's measure
Can trample an empire down.

We, in the ages lying
In the buried past of the earth,
Built Nineveh with our sighing,
And Babel itself with our mirth;
And o'erthrew them with prophesying
To the old of the new world's worth;
For each age is a dream that is dying,
Or one that is coming to birth."
